Supernova – Thumbs Up

I’m a fairly big Kanye West fan, but he seems to be featured on so many songs by other artists, it’s hard to keep up with what he’s doing.  Here is a song titled Supernova by Mr. Hudson, a band from the UK that is on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label.  The video came out on June 30th and is just as cool as the song is.  I love the effect that makes it look like Ben Hudson and Kanye are made out of lights. I wonder how that was done.

Wale – Thumbs Up

Thumbs Up: Wale (pronounced “wall-eh”, not like “whale”) is a rapper from Washington D.C. whose clever lyrics put him in the same corner as Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco. He’s coming out with his debut studio album this year, titled Attention: Deficit. Last summer, I couldn’t stop listening to W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E. his remix of D.A.N.C.E. by Justice, and this summer I haven’t been able to stop listening to Chilin’, featuring Lady Gaga, the first single off Attention: Deficit.

Wale also has a mixtape coming out called Back to the Feature, that he claims should be released no later than June 13th, which according to my calculations, is tomorrow. So keep your eyes peeled for that. However, the release has already been delayed before, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it was delayed again.
